Simon heads up the Personal Injury Department, having acted for injured clients since being admitted as a solicitor in 1981. Simon was appointed a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Personal Injury Panel in 1994 in recognition of his expertise in this area and now specialises in high value claims. He is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Simon’s two passions are following Leeds United and drumming in his front room. He is receiving treatment for the former as is his wife for the latter.
Personal Injury Team: Emma Mason

Emma joined us in 1999. She is the head of the Serious Injury and Complex Case Team which reflects her vast experience in acting for clients who have suffered serious injuries as a result of accidents at work, in public places and in road traffic accidents. She, like the rest of the team, is experienced in acting for children as well as adults injured in accidents. Emma is a member of The Association Of Personal Injury Lawyers
The interesting thing about Emma is that she is terrified of frogs.
Personal Injury Team: Karen Cawood

Karen heads up the Personal Injury Fast Track Claims Team. She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and has dealt with all aspects of personal injury claims for many years. Karen has considerable experience in handling claims for people injured at work or as a result of tripping and slipping or other public liability accidents.
Karen's life long ambition is to reach 5' tall. She is currently 4'11 1/2".
Personal Injury Team: Yvonne Saunders

Yvonne joined the fast track team in September 2011 and deals with road traffic, slipping and tripping accidents. Yvonne has considerable Defendant knowledge having worked for large Defendant companies. She has completed her law degree and Legal Practice Course and intends on becoming a qualified solicitor. In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys socialising with her friends, going to the gym and using her season ticket to watch Bradford City.
Yvonne would love to take part in Strictly Come Dancing!
Personal Injury Team: Anthony Hey

After completing his law degree and the Legal Practice Course Anthony initially worked for large retail and insurance clients. However, he decided to put this legal knowledge to good use and help individuals who rightly deserve compensation. Anthony represents adults and children who have been injured in public places, at work, or on holiday. In his spare time Anthony enjoys the highs and lows of Sunday League Football and attempts to play football against people half his age.
Anthony's life long ambition is to play a Dr Who villain

Emma joined us after completing university with a 2:1 degree in Business Law. She is currently undertaking the Legal Practice Course with the intention of becoming a qualified solicitor. She has experience of dealing in all aspects of personal injury claims including road traffic accidents, occupiers liability and public liability claims. She is currently a member of our Serious Injury and Complex Case Team.
Emma's life long ambition is to marry Prince Harry.
Personal Injury Team: Tara Hildebrandt

Tara joined us after completing an LLB Law degree, a Masters in International Law and Politics and the Legal Practice Course and has just completed the Legal Practice Course with the intention of becoming a qualified solicitor. She is responsible for supporting the Serious Injury and Complex Case Team.
Tara's lifelong ambition is to be in a horror movie.
Personal Injury Team : Sairah Hussain

Sairah joined the practice in January 2009 having previously worked for two other firms in Leeds dealing with major criminal defence work. She is a law graduate and a graduate of the Legal Practice Course. Sairah works on her own cases and is currently undertaking her seat in Personal Injury for her training contract.
Sairah worked as a law lecturer, teaching family and criminal law before going into legal practice. She had at times to give lectures to people twice her age!
