Cohen Cramer Solicitors, together with over 200 guests, including many high profile names from local businesses and sports clubs, yesterday celebrated the official opening of its new offices in central Leeds.
Councillor Andrew Carter, leader of Leeds City Council, attended to officially declare the offices open.
Councillor Carter used the opportunity to deliver a short address on the local economy, focusing on success stories, such as the expansion of Cohen Cramer, and how this is not only adds to the profile of the business community in Leeds but also sends a powerful message about the company’s strength in a time of recession.
Sports star, Ellery Hanley, joined influential and long established business clients to show their gratitude to Cohen Cramer for its excellent, professional legal guidance and work.
Councillor Carter said: "Leeds should be proud of its successes especially in difficult economic times. The coming together of these two firms and subsequent growth is one such success which should be celebrated."
Richard Cramer, joint Managing Partner of Cohen Cramer, said of the event: “It was fantastic for our continued growth to be supported and recognised at what is a very challenging time for all businesses. Our clients will benefit from our larger offices, the new facilities and our ever growing team of experienced solicitors who deliver high quality services in both traditional legal areas and the number of niche departments which we have established.”
Senior Partner Howard Cohen said: “The firm’s recent successes have been achieved without sacrificing the friendly family ethos of the practice. I believe this characterises the firm’s relationship with its clients, many of whom have supported the two firms making up Cohen Cramer for over 30 years.”
