Dental Department Free Seminar - 4th March 2010 - 6.30pm
01 March 2010
Cohen Cramer's Dental Team is to co-host a free seminar for Dentists, discussing the implications of the NHS’s new Personal Dental Services Plus contract
As of February 2010, the new PDS+ contract has been widely released by Primary Care Trusts across the country as part of the tendering process. This new form of contract is aimed at tackling existing access and inequality problems surrounding the provision of NHS dental services.
The new contract has already caused a furore within the dental community, and dragged the British Dental Association and Department of Health into a tense stand-off. The main concerns arise from the complexity surrounding the calculation of payments due, as well as the significantly increased administrative burden facing dentists under the new contract.
In such circumstances, the Cohen Cramer Dental Team are highly concerned at the prospect of dentists signing up to such a contract without being fully aware of what they are letting themselves in for (or considering the alternatives) and would welcome the attendance of any interested dentists at this seminar, where such issues will be fully discussed.
Seminar: Where and when?
